Dennis Amadeus

Dennis Amadeus is a nationally traveled spoken word artist, poetry slam champion, writer, teaching artist, and youth advocate. Amadeus has been a Tampa representative in 2 National Poetry Slam competitions, and 7 Southern Fried Southeast Regional competitions placing 6th out of 150+ poets overall in 2017. He is the co-founder of Ask Me To Do A Poem, GrowHouse – a Tampa event production company dedicated to growing artists – and a member of the international poetry collective Black on Black Rhyme. Amadeus has also been a featured performer at countless high -profile venues all across the U.S. from L.A. to FL to NY and many stops in between. Dennis has self-published 2 Poetry chapbooks and currently has a Spoken Word/Music album available on all streaming platforms titled “Waiting On the Bus.”
