February 2-5, 2017 – “R&R Festival: From Recovery to Rejuvenation” – performances by, for, about and with veterans, in conjunction with the National Summit on Arts & Health in the Military (co-organized by Americans for the Arts) @ USF Theatre 1 and associated locations!  Special EPIC evening, 5-8 PM, Tre Amici @ The Bunker!

February 25-March 4 – Andrea Assaf: SpeakOut Residency with Tigertail Productions!  Andrea hosts a Teen Slam on March 2, 6-9 PM @ Miami Beach Botanical Gardens, and gives a Reading of New Work, March 3, 8pm @ The Betsy Hotel, Miami Beach.

March 5 – Veterans Community Open Mic, with host, Andrea Assaf, DJ Cotton, and special guests!  6:30-9 PM, Tre Amici @ The Bunker, 1907 N. 19th St., Ybor City, Tampa.

March 6-8Working Narratives – Andrea Assaf directs a staged reading of Speed Killed My Cousin, Wilmington, NC.

March 9-12 -“Art in the Service of Understanding” convening, New England Foundation for the Arts; Andrea Assaf directs a staged reading of Speed Killed My Cousin @ Emerson College, Boston, MA.

March 22 – The War & Treaty – Songwriting Workshop for Veterans and service members, family members, spouses/partners/significant others, and caregivers. @ USF, details coming soon!

March 29 – “Indelible: Veteran Love Stories” – TEDx performance! 6 PM @ USF Marshall Center Ballroom.

April 2017 – THIS Bridge:  Rasha Abdulhadi – Poetry Workshops for student veterans, and for Arab/Muslim students @ USF …. Details coming soon!

September 25 — THIS Bridge: Aya Tarek Art Talk. Egyptian graffiti artist & muralist introduces her work to Tampa.  FREE event!  3:30pm @ FAH 290 (University of South Florida, College of the Arts).  Drop by the Contemporary Art Museum, Sept 25-30, to see Aya painting a new work on campus!
